Its a great day out!You are so bored. What to do? What to do? There are so many different places that your money can be well spent. Most of us walk around and just buy, not realizing how much power our wallets pack. In the realm of military life and a military town, your wallet is very important. Why you may ask? Why are these businesses here? I'll stick to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, but its mirrored at military bases all over.





The businesses are flocking here because you the military family are here. In this major recession corporations have realized that the military and their families are finally a group that should not be overlooked. Soldiers are shipping out. So who spends the money? We do, the spouses,mostly wives, some husbands. We get bored, our children have to get out,we need fun. The businesses come here for you. You are not required to buy from a particular business. You don't have to help them strive, but we do. Do you ever think of how the businesses show their support for you and your military family and life? Are these businesses here to make rich off your money and run to the next opportunity? Are you just a face in the multitude of customers?





It is important to know where your money goes. It is important to support those businesses who support your local programs and your family and children. Next time you go to the mall research that company you spent $130.00 dollars in.$130.00 may be petty to some, but multiply that by 90,000 or more military families and that adds up. Check businesses out , our area is a booming economy. Does the business support military families and soldiers? Does the business outreach to your local military bases and veterans hospitals, or do they take all the money and send them to programs overseas, and elsewhere, and support their own state programs?





There are never enough programs to outreach to the military families. With budget cuts looming for some programs in the near future who knows what will be cut. The families left behind are dealing with large amounts of stress along with the soldier. Our military families need support from the community and who better to help achieve the mission than businesses working along with the community.

So choose wisely where you spend your money. Your quality of life depends on it.
